Your Privacy

Your privacy is a high priority at IHOPU Online, so we are glad to disclose how information is collected, how it is used and why, who sees the information, and how we go out of our way to protect it. IHOPU Online’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use define the use of personal information that may be compiled when you interact with IHOPU Online, such as visiting our website, purchasing our products or services, or communicating with any of our personnel. By reading the following, you will learn all you need to know about our information practices.

Security Policy

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the Internet. To ensure your safety, we also do not store your credit card information on our servers.

Refund and Return Policy

To receive a refund in the event of course cancellation or withdrawal, the student must request a refund by emailing ihopuonline@ihopkc.org. Refunds are given according to the following schedule:

  • Within one week (7 days) of registration: 100% refund
  • Within two weeks (14 days) of registration: 50% refund
  • Within four weeks (30 days) of registration: 25% refund
  • After fourth week (31 days or more) following registration: no refund is issued

If you cancel your course or withdraw early, we require that all downloaded material be deleted from your hard drive or other electronic device, in compliance with normal return procedure.

If you experience technical problems caused by the IHOPU Online systems and administration, we will issue refunds on a case-by-case basis instead of basing the amount of refund on time expired since registration.

Your Right to Use the Site and Its Content

The IHOPU Online site is only for personal enjoyment and use. You may not copy, modify, or sell anything found on this site. However, Mike Bickle allows individuals to copy and paste his notes, and modify them, as long as his name is removed and replaced with the user's own name. This is not true of the notes of other instructors provided through IHOPU Online. Mike's notes and teachings are made available online, at mikebickle.org, free of charge, for the purpose of further biblical studies.

What Is a Copyright?

A copyright is the legal right of creative artists or publishers to control the use and reproduction of their original works. Copyright is recognized in most governmental structures of the world by statutory copyright laws.

Furthermore, copyright exists through the expression of an idea. However, the idea itself is not copyrighted. Copyrightable expressions have various forms, but the most common are literary, musical, dramatic, sound recordings, pantomime and dance/choreography, pictorial, graphic, computer programs, sculptural and motion pictures.

The IHOPU and IHOPU Online copyright policy does not allow duplication of class materials. International House of Prayer University must maintain a level of academic integrity, meaning that we do not allow duplication of the course material. Therefore, we require that any material you purchase be kept within the bounds of your viewing agreement (one individual per IHOPU Online interactive course and one individual and spouse per IHOPU Online enrichment audio and/or video course).

How Information Is Collected

Registering on the IHOPU Online website allows access to portions of the website that are not visible to casual visitors. By creating an account and login name, you are prompted to enter personal information, which we retain in our database to better serve our members. This information is given on a voluntary basis and IHOPU Online reserves the right to use this information to provide superior service.

How Your Information Is Used and Why

Our database holds all your registered information, sorting it by last name. To make your visit enjoyable and in consideration of your time, your account information is stored in order to allow you to purchase, to sign up for interactive and enrichment classes, and to keep you informed. Because we try to cater to your needs, we encourage you to make regular updates on your account to your contact information and preferences.

Who Sees Your Information

Only authorized IHOPU Online personnel have access to your information. All access points are protected by login name and password. All permissions are regulated and supervised by the office administrator.

In the event that we may be required by law or litigation to disclose your personal information, we reserve the right to make known the information to the proper authorities. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary.

How We Protect Your Information

IHOPU Online takes your privacy very seriously, and we assure you that we will never sell or rent your contact information to any kind of marketer. All other precautions and restrictions are stated above.

IHOPU Online's website contains links to the sites of other ministries and outside URLs. IHOPU Online is not responsible for the privacy practices of these outside sources, so we encourage you to learn about them.

To Unsubscribe

To discontinue receiving IHOPU Online emails, simply send the generated email to ihopuonline@ihopkc.org. Please be aware that if you have registrated more than once, you will need to unsubscribe each email address you have used.

Delivery Policy

IHOPU Online does not deliver. All audio, video, and PDF documents are included in the registration for each course and/or certificate and are available immediately upon registration approval and login to the IHOPU Online course site at ihopuonline.ihopkc.org/lms.

Site Usage Policy

Unlawful and inappropriate communications are prohibited, including, but not limited to:

  • Threats of violence
  • Any communication which violates the legal rights of others
  • Obscene and profane communications
  • Pornography
  • Harassing communications (as defined by law)
  • Defamatory communications
  • Transmitting unsolicited bulk messages or ‘spam’
  • Any communication which could be utilized for academic cheating
  • Marketing of personal services or merchandise or negotiating such services
  • Any communication which introduces, installs, transmits or propagates a computer virus

IHOPU Online reserves the right to remove content, revoke usage of forums, downgrade course status from interactive to enrichment, or delete your account upon violation of any of the above points either on forums or private assignments.
